Who we are
The Elmore Sheriff Employee’s Association was created in June 1998 with a donation from the family of the late Deputy Dennis Remington who passed in the line of duty on May 3, 1995. He passed after 6 years of service with the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office while responding to an accident and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. After his passing, his parents donated $5,000 to the Sheriff’s Office in hopes the money could help employees who are experiencing financial or personal problems.
Since then the Association has grown and now includes engaging with our community through student scholarships, sponsoring school events, providing education when needed, and also offering support services to the Sheriff’s Office.
